Pray for All is a global initiative to pray for every person in the world by name and share Jesus with them. We promote the B.L.E.S.S. lifestyle, which helps believers lead people to Jesus in a relational and loving way. Our biblical mandate comes from 1 Timothy 2:1-4, “I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people...This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved." (NLT)
God wants us to pray for every person in the world because He wants them to be saved. Every believer in your church, business, or network can pray for at least 5 people and share Jesus with them. Everybody can pray for somebody and together we can pray for everybody.
When you pray for people by name, you begin to care for them more. "The LORD called me before my birth; from within the womb he called me by name" (Isaiah 43:1)
Relationships are built one conversation at a time. Listen to people with empathy. Get to know their story, hurts. fears, needs, and doubts. "Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry" (James 1:19).
Jesus spent a lot of His time eating with people far from God. Eating with people builds friendships and opens their hearts. “While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many sinners came and ate with him and his disciples” (Mt. 9:10).
Jesus modeled that the best way to reach people is to serve them in practical ways and meet their needs. "The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many" (Matthew 20:28)
When Paul shared the Gospel in Acts 22, he shared the three parts of his story: his life before Jesus, how het me Jesus, and his life after he met Jesus. You can do the same. Share your life before Jesus, how you met Jesus, and your life since you met Jesus. And then introduce them to God's story, the Gospel.
